Advisory Committees

Advisory Committees

Board Advisory Committees provide advice and recommendations to the Board of Trustees in the areas identified by the charge to each committee.  Board Advisory Committee meetings are open to the public, and meeting times and places will be posted at least 48 hours prior to each meeting.
The Superintendent or Designated Administrator is responsible for convening meetings, notification of members, record keeping and arranging for reporting to the Board of Trustees.  At the Annual Organizational Meeting in December, the Board President may appoint a Board member liaison to each of the committees. The Board member liaison will report to the Board on the activities of the committee.
Member selection and terms are specified for each committee. All members are approved by the Board following the recommendation of the Superintendent or Designated Administrator for each committee.
