» How does it work to shift a student to Virtual School or Blended Learning if I change my mind?

 
Families have the option to change their child's enrollment to the Blended or Virtual School program based on the below schedule, which indicates the dates you may change the program for your child. Most switch dates are specific to each grade level and based on that grade level's return date. However, two switch dates (January 20 and March 26) are available to students at all grade levels.
 
The calendar also indicates the deadlines to notify your principal of your intent to change your child's program. In order to make the switch, please email your school principal by no later than the notification deadlines listed below.
 
Students in Grades 2-3:
October 19: Notification deadline for families to change program on November 9
November 9: Program switch date

 
Students in Grades 4-5:
November 16: Notification deadline for families to change program on December 7
December 7: Program switch date

 
Students in Grades 6:
December 7: Notification deadline for families to change program on January 11
January 11: Program switch date

 
Students in Grades 7-8:
December 7: Notification deadline for families to change program on January 20
January 20: Program switch date

 
Students in All Grades:
December 7: Notification deadline for families to change program on January 20
December 18: Notification deadline for 4th and 5th Grade families to change program on January 20
January 20: Program switch date

 
March 8: Notification deadline for families to change program on March 29
March 29: Program switch date
