Evidence of Enrollment Growth

Our 9 campuses serve the same number of students as previously served by 12 campuses

The above chart is extracted from the Superintendent’s Enrollment Growth Task Force Report and updated with current data.

As condominiums and apartments age we find more students coming from them.

The above chart shows the student generation rates from condominiums and apartments.  The “y” axis indicates the number of students per unit.  E.g., a “10% yield” means that LASD receives 1 student for every 10 housing units.

The above chart reflects the rapid growth in enrollment in the North of El Camino area of the district.
