Get Involved at Gardner Bullis!

Volunteer Opportunities

There are many great ways to get involved at Gardner Bullis. Volunteer opportunities are organized by the PTA, which offers a range of options to fit your schedule including helping out in your child(ren)’s classroom, serving as a committee volunteer (in person or remotely), chairing a committee or event, and taking on a PTA leadership position on the Executive Board. You do not need to be an expert. We just need your willingness, enthusiasm and time. Our goal is 100% volunteer participation each year from our Gardner families; any amount of time (even just one hour once during the school year) is greatly appreciated. If you have any questions about volunteering, please contact the PTA Co-Presidents.

Committee Volunteer

Volunteering on a committee is a wonderful way to get involved at Gardner Bullis. Here is a list of current committees and their chairs. If you are interested in participating, please contact the respective committee chair to learn more.

Committee Chair

If you are interested in chairing a committee, please contact the PTA Co-Presidents.

Executive Board

Executive Board members are nominated and elected through the Nominating Committee each spring; information about available positions will be publicized at that time.  Executive Board positions involve the responsibilities of a specific position, as well as participation in executive board goals, decisions, and/or special projects. Participation in monthly Executive Board meetings and monthly General PTA meetings is required.  Positions typically are two-year terms. For more information, please contact the PTA Co-Presidents.

Site Council

School Site Councils were established by the State of California to involve parents, teachers, administrators and community members in important decisions regarding how their school functions.  The Gardner Bullis Site Council meets monthly to develop and monitor school-wide goals for the school, including improving student achievement and ensuring school safety. Meetings are open to all. For more information, please see the Site Council page.
