Community Service On Campus

MISSION

Gardner Gives Back provides an opportunity for Gardner Bullis School students and their families to help the local and greater community, connect with circumstances and experiences that may be different than their own, and empower students to make a difference. Through our monthly events and activities we strive to make volunteering fun, educational and accessible to our community while supporting those in need.

Past Gardner Gives Back events include packaging 10,000 meals in one evening for Rise Against Hunger, running a jacket and sweatshirt drive for children in Watsonville, CA, cleaning up our school campus, trick-or-treating for UNICEF, collecting canned goods for Second Harvest of Silicon Valley, and donating over 100 new toothbrushes and socks per classroom to GLIDE Memorial Church in San Francisco in honor of our 100th day of school.

Student Leadership and other interested students may participate in Gardner Gives Back work sessions with a teacher and volunteer parent during Lunch Recess to brainstorm new ideas, help organize the next event and participate in the current project. This interaction provides an ongoing opportunity for kids to get involved and see their ideas take shape in the community.

Please contact Gardner Gives Back with any questions or comments at gardnergivesback@gmail.com.
